Compounded Semaglutide

Steady Weight-Loss

Patients on semaglutide can usually expect to lose 1-3 lbs or 10-20% body weight in 6-12 months along with diet and exercise changes

Semaglutide (known as Wegovy and Ozempic) is a once weekly injection that works by slowing down gastric motility helping patients feel fulling longer leading to less oral intake. Semaglutide also works by mimicking a naturally occurring hormone that signals satiety along with helping the pancreas create more insulin to transport glucose for energy instead of storing it as fat.

Benefits of Semaglutide

  • Improves Metabolic Function. GLP-1s medications regulate blood sugar levels by increasing insulin and decreasing glucagon only when blood sugar levels are high. GLP-1s ( Semaglutide, Ozempic, Wegovy) also improve whole-body energy metabolism by increasing the insulin sensitivity of muscle cells and regulating fat cell development.

  • Reduces Inflammation. GLP-1 medications are clinically proven to reduce inflammation markers, leading to decreased inflammatory response and oxidative stress.

  • Regulates Digestion. GLP-1s slow how quickly food moves from the stomach to the intestines. This helps you feel full for longer by regulating sugar absorption in the intestine.
